I specialize in/can give advice about....: I am a Life Coach, my company is Turtle Island Coaching. My favorite clients are young women social entrepreneurs, activists and those who want to create environmentally conscious lifestyles or projects to effect positive world change. I specialize in helping young people find their true passion and path of the heart. I help with a variety of self assessments, teach how to access your intuition and think "out of the box." i can help with spiritual direction for those who are spiritual but not religious, and would like to know about meditation practices, shamanism, meditation forms and the divine feminine.

I would like to learn more about...: Trends in lifestyle for young women, what young women entnrepreneurs are doing, original and innovative leaders who are in their 20's and 30's; positive future orientned young writers, poets, songwriters and artists that are having impact on younger generations.

About Me:: I am 70, enjoying my life more than I ever have after a lifetime of spiritual and psychological development. I started Turtle Island Coaching a few years ago to assist people who want to create a better, more environmentally and socially conscious world. I was an actress in NYC as a teen, 22 Years in that city and 22 in the SF Bay Area. Now enjoying life in San Diego.
Well travelled, lived in Mexico two years but came back to make a difference in the lives of young people. Taught
theater to kids and youth part time for 25 years. Created
"Dancing the Goddesses Within" as an empowerment
training through creative dance-theater.

What Inspires You?: Fabulous twenty-something young women I know truly dedicated to work for a better world. The beauty and brilliance of today's children. Wilderness and wild animals. Barack Obams's win. Goddesses of ancient cultures and indigenous wisdom teachings. The wisdom of the Buddha dharma. Rumi's poetry. Magazines like "Yes" and "Kosmos" and "Fast Company." A book called "Shadow Mountain" about the woman who started the Wolf Fund and was the primary person responsible for reintroducing wolves to Yellowstone. Pioneers and innovators throughout history. Ghandi and Martin Luther King.

Passions: Wilderness, mentoring young women in finding the path of their heart, mythological ennactments, learning about
the Divine Feminine, meditation, developing loving and deep relationships, self transformation, communication with people and animals, wolves, ravens, eagles and other wild creatures, developing intuition, becoming adept at coaching.

Career Goals: Expanding my coaching and seminar business. Creating or participating in a networking and self development training program for young women. Spiritual and personal
growth. Being a tour sacred destinations tour leader.

I had been working in advertising for almost 5 years. I have a business degree and thought an office atmosphere was where I should be. Boy was I wrong :) After being laid off twice I realized that the best feeling I got from those jobs was leaving them. I am currently dating a wonderful artist who opened my eyes to a creative world and creativity inside me that once shown I knew had been missing and it felt amazing.
